About Me
I’m Quangao Liu, a PhD researcher in Computer Science at the University of Exeter, with research interests in robotics and embodied AI.
I explore how robots can connect perception, reasoning, and action. My interests include vision-language-action (VLA) models, robot learning, active perception, and multimodal sensing across RGB-D, thermal, LiDAR, and event cameras. I am particularly interested in bringing learning systems into real-world robot deployment.
Selected work
- 3jsVLA: a browser-based robotic manipulation environment for learning the VLA pipeline, from demonstration collection to training lightweight policies.
- MSTVI: the official implementation of our paper on multivariate time series forecasting, published in Knowledge-Based Systems (2025).
I also keep reading notes and a blog.
